My first track experience, how'd I do

I ran a 14.8 at 90. My car is stock except for the removal of the silencer and an ACT 2100. My 60' time was 2.0. I think I was letting the clutch out too fast and next time I go out I can pull it under 2 seconds and hopefully change some shift points to get down to a 14.7. I'm learning, How'd I do?

What rpm did you launch at?

I just ran my Talon at the track but ran extremely shitty.

My best time was 16.49 with a 2.76 60'.

I launched at too low of a rpm though. My car was bone stock down to the paper filter. It was my second day of ownership too.

I ran a 14.9@95 BONE stock...so yes you did good.

I was launching at around 4k, and I was dumping the clutch too hard I think. Next time, I'll go around 5k and let it out slower, hopefully get a 14.7.

Skurry, I just realized you were Damion's bro, he told me his brother had an eclipse gst that went 12.1 and it just hit me that it was you, were you out at the drags friday?

Sadly it was a turbo but I know my problem now. I was launching at way too low of a rpm.

I was just ####ing around tonight and reved it up to 4k and let out the clutch and I surprised the shit out of myself with how fast it got out of the hole.

I also ran a 14.9@95mph with an intake/BOV & boost a 16psi. Spinning through 1st, 2nd & chirping 3rd gear. Stock tires SUCK ASS...& it was on my stock GST chromies.
