2003 SVT Fovus Zetec (moded) VS. 1998 GSX

Me (98 GSX w/ exhaust and K&N filter)and a friend of mine (2002 GTP Bone Stock) where driving and hunting for ricers to kill. It wasn't even 5 min when this SVT Focus Zetec with a pissed off bee exhaust reved at me. I was like "hell no" I made a huge U-Turn and got on his ass!!! when it got to 2 lanes I pulled up beside him and let him hear what I have under the hood. he said to go to a back road and we could line them up. Well i see now that he has pillar gauges and rims at least. So we where off. Me and my friend pull in to the old gas station and wait for him. me and the focus go first. My friend honks 3 times and I take him WAY off the line! I win the race by at least 3 links, so i throw the flashers and hit the brakes, just proud to shut another ricer up. Then my friend lines up with him, and I honk, they go, now keep in mind his GTP is all stock and an automatic!!! well he wins by a good distance too!! so we pull back in the gas station and he just shakes his head in disapointemt, he just got OWNED twice in less that 3 mins. Kinda felt sorry for him, but i remembered he was a ricer, and that made me feel MUCH better!!!

good kill..atleast u didnt do the ricer flyby and hit your flashers on him..its good you killed him and than hit yur flashers..because i cant stand people hitting there hazards on me when im just cruising in 5th. Thats when there gonan get chased and get a thumbs down from me..and possibly a punch.

Nice kill but those SVT Focus's arent that impressive. I beleive they are high 15's stock, like in the 15.7-15.9 range if I remember correctly.

and 4x4_tsi whena ricer revs at me, i have no option, but to shut him up. and the only way to do that is on the back top. so i did.

In the new article of SportCompact they had the article where they put the 4.6s motor in the SVT Focus making over 450 at the wheels and did a 12.7 1/4 mile

That's impressive...but from looking at 0-30 and 0-60 times, it sucks ass off the line..

0-30 in I think like 2.7 (same as stock SE-R)
0-60 in 4.8 (not bad at ALL but compared with the 1/4 mile time I think it should be low 4's, possibly 3.9)

All that torque just causes wheel spin in that little car....

450 HP at the wheels and only pulling down a 12.7??? Are you sure? That seems pretty slow of a time, probably tons of wheel spin or something...

yeah, thats why they got 0-30 equal to a stock SE-R and 0-60 of only 4.8 (still good but compared to 12.7 1/4, that sucks)

They said it the article that they had to launch at 2500 and still got mega amount of wheel spin...if they could get grip, oh man, damn, that thing would probably touch 11's...
