ok guys I just went to the track on Sunday and these were my results. At 19psi on 111 octane my best time was 14.191 @ 98.29mph my 60' was 2.443 (remember I am FWD and I still have my stock clutch and turbo) I also had a couple 14.2's. so what do u guys think??

OMG 19psi on the t25. I hope your profile just isn't updated. Anyway if you can get that launch down some you will be flirting with 13's:thumb: Good run.

Edit:
N/M i see it was the T25 OMG i can't imagine the t25 holding 19psi.Once you get a bigger turbo you are gonna be nasty

thanks, my clutch was slipping in 3rd, I think I am making a little too much power for my stock clutch. I already picked up a big 16g hopefully it will be on there soon. Oh yeah and after about 5000rpm's the boost drops and sits at about 10-11psi. Quick question r u gonna be comming down to fairfax on the 13th for the dsm meet down here?

Make sure you check your plugs first. Alot of times people mistake a slipping clutch for bad plugs. You going to the meet this weekend??

I had about the same mods as you with my T25 pushing 19-20psi. I got a best of 14.4 at 97mph and a 2.55 60', it was the best I could get with my stock suspension.

That is great man, keep in mind the 16g is going to be spinning you aswell, but your mph will be alot better. I ran a 14 flat at 112 with the same suspension (stock with nasty hard tires)

Maybe Chris can vouch for my tire setup. Those tires were hard as a rock and looked new and they had 10k on them. I talking still had the rubber nipples on the sidewalls.OMG

I have some bfg's that my dad got me at costco they are 205/55-16. I brought the tire pressure down to about 26psi and I babied it off the line. It will spin too much if I give it to much throttle so I just gradually give it gas.

And knowing is half the battle.;)

It takes decades of telling the young guys/gals that tire/tire pressure plays a key roll in the GS-T. A suspension setup and a few mods with the T-25 can get someone into the 13's. I don't care what the other guys say, we both know that we can get LOW 14's with the small snail.:thumb:

(I was one of the young ones that went all engine and no suspension. I have since seen the way.)

I am actually planning on going back to the track on the 21st to try and run a 13 what do u think I should do. I can only afford one of these things: prothane motor mount bushings, some eibach prokit springs, or some stickier falken ziex tires. I am eventually gonna get it all done but which one do u guys think will help me the most right off the bat??

I really would like to see you sub 14 on our stupid azz t25's. I'm already anxious to see how i do. I was kinda down thinking i wasn't gonna do nothing with my t25 but i guess there is hope. (i dunno about 19-20 psi.OMG with mine)

If u get a chance u should come down to the track on the 21st they have midday maddness. the gates open at 10am and the bracket racing dosen't start till 2:30. Are u going to the dsm meet this weekend TurBoGs-T? My car has 105,000 miles and my t25 is still running pretty strong.

That's really good for that turbo. Running 19 lbs on the stock turbo, even on race gas is absolutely insane. I'm waiting on a couple more things before I got to the track. I'm hoping for good things this year, unlike last year. :)

MIR, I am gonna be at the meet to.

Those are some really nice times, I'd go for the tires if I was you...they will make the biggest improvement. Next time you go strip out ALL the weight in the back of your car, and lower your front tire pressure to like 22-24 psi, and you should be able to pull off some better 60's.

That is the trick.

What are your mods to be able to run that with the T25 ? Im going to use your setup as a blueprint for my GST :thumb:

Is it safe for my GST to run 18psi daily ? or just for the track ?

I couldn't really tell you if it is safe. I don't know if you drive your car hard everyday, but I have been driving my car for almost a year running 18-19psi and the t25 is still running strong. I dunno what kinda shape your car is in but when I bought my car in 2002 it had 69,000 miles on it, I got it off of a jaguar dealer because some 57 year old guy had just traded it in for a jaguar so obviously he didn't run it hard, now I have 105,000 miles on it. And my car has some mild tunning so that probably helps to. And look at it this way if you blow your t25 you have an excuse to upgrade.:D

I drive quite a bit of highway, I currently have 105,000 miles as well, but my turbo is running strong.

I drive it preety hard on certain spurts, most of the time Im going 80MPH on the highway in 5th.

same here I have to drive to work every day and its 22miles each way but my turbo is still holding up there. As long as you take good care of your car I don't see why it should be a problem with running 18-19psi If you are not going to be getting on it all the time.
