I went ot the track last weekend and it was my first time ever at the track. I ran a 15.02 against an evo that ran a 13.04 (just thought id add that). The only mods i have are ic piping type s and k&n filter. Is this what i should be running i consider myself a pretty good driver on the street. What is a 95 gsx suppose to run stock?

I have read somewhere 14.9 is the bone stock time for a 2G GSX.

Yeah, it says right in that little book thing you can get from the dealer....When my dad got his 2G GSX back in 94, he got that little book and it was

hp: 210
tQ: 214 ft/lbs
0-60: 6.4
1/4 mile: [email protected] or 91.4...can't rememeber....

mitumir has is kinda right its 14.8 and 91mph I belive. With awd they trap at lower aspeeds than us fwd guys. you should be running mid 14s with that setup.
Andrew

ps I ran 15 flat STOCK with a slipping clutch and the ac on with only 9psi. with the a/c off and a good clutch I woulda ran a 148 I believ maybe better

Definitely. I was doing that, with a best of 2.063 when I took my stock GS-T to the track.

We'll when the car was new it was advertised at 15.2. And you've gotta consider that that was with a pro driver at the wheel.

That is a good time to be running considering how stock the car is. I believe every .1 of a second you remove in your 60' you are .2 seconds faster in the quarter.

Hmm, maybe he was having a bad day.

That's definately a pretty good time for your car. I have also heard 14.7 for stock GSX. Stock GST is 15.1 (That's just what i read)
