Have a 1997 eclipse spyder with no overdrive,I have replaced all shift solenoids,end clutches, and tcm and still no overdrive,..any suggestions?
 
did you check the o-ring on top of the valve body? if its gone so is your reverse. you need that o-rind intact to get pressure for reverse. also have you tried unplugging your tcu to see if you have 3rd and reverse. if have only 3rd its most likely mechanical. solenoids dont have anything to do with reverse. its all mechanical.
