Hey whats going on everyone Ive gotten 2g eclipse and has a Manual boost controller also with a front mount intercooler and a 16g on it...the MBC is t-eed off at the BOV for the boost and then the other nipple on the mbc goes to the wastgate..Well i wanted to take out the MBC and Just run my stock Boost control solonoid for awhile....How do i hook up the stock boost colonopid can i jus ttake the hoses from the MBC and put them right on the stock Boost control solonoid?

Skip the BCS and run the wastegate line straight to the j pipe line. Youll run, basically, stock boost that way.

Exactly what absolute said. Run a straight vacuum line from the nipple on the j-pipe to the wastegate. Simple as that.

Hey I have a t connection coming from the j-pipe, one vacuum line to solonoid and the other vacuum to the waste gate, is this correct?

Yep... that's exactly what he said

If you do go back to an MBC, you really should run separate vac lines for the BOV and MBC. The BOV can run to the IM, and the MBC should come off of the j-pipe, or as close to the turbo compressor outlet as possible.

It's been forever since I've seen the stock BCS, but that is correct IIRC. The stock BCS is used to bleed off some of the pressure going to the wastegate actuator, thereby allowing the wastegate to stay closed longer and increasing boost.

As Brian said, you can source the MBC from the IM...but ideally, you want it as close to the pressure source as possible. In theory, you'd get quicker response with the MBC, although I don't know if anyone has actually ever measured it.

Also, if your MBC is sourced at the IM and you blow an intercooler pipe or have a good-sized leak before the IM, the MBC won't see the actual boost pressure that the turbo is generating...which could cause bigger problems depending on the severity of the air loss.

There's not more than a few dozen threads about hooking up a manual BCV on this site, and at least as many repeats of the factory vacuum maps for the BCS.
