Hello everyone. Im new here and new to the DSM world. I must say that I am very excited. I can't beleive how inexpensive it is to make these cars fast. I come from the Ford Modular world of tunning and its no walk in the park on your wallet.

Ok here is what I bought. I want an idea of a ballpark ET I should have. See who comes the closest also. I will be at the track in a few weeks.

1995 GS

Motor:
EDIT: 90 GS-T Fully forged
Gig 16g Turbo
PnP Head
EDIT: SBR Exhaust manifold
3'' Down and cat back no cats.
750cc injectors
255 Walbro fuel pump
EDIT: Adjustable fuel pressure regulator
Stock waste gate
EDIT: Venting BOV
2600 street strip clutch
AWD drivers side axle
Apix Boost controller
SBR LSD
Fuel rails and fuel lines
EDIT: DSM Link
Meth/Water injection
EDIT: BFG G FORCE TA Drags
EDIT: 2g Front Intercooler Kit

Will tune for around 23psi on pump gas.

What do you think?

Any advise or tips are VERY appreciated. We are buying parts now so anything that can help would be nice.

Asking for an estimate on your ETs or horsepower is considered bench racing, and due to the impossibility of being accurate, is against the forum rules. Yes, it's fun to hear what everyone thinks you'll do, but in reality, it just turns into a "Well I ran this time with the same mods" and "No, that's impossible. It's going to be more like this" argument between numerous members.

After looking at your car and its mods.... I'm so confused, it's not funny.

1995 GS

Motor:
89 GS-T Fully forged

Are you missing a "T" in that first description, or did someone swap an 89 GST motor into a 95 GS? And where did they get an 89 GST from?

After market BOV (not sure which one it has)

Venting or recirculating?

AWD drivers side axle

That's interesting, but I don't see the point.

Anyway, get to the track and report back your results. But most DSM'ers aren't really interested in guessing how well people do; they care about how you actually do. Good luck. :thumb:

Ok. Well like I said. I'm 110% to the DSM world.

Maybe I could ask this. Do you think this setup is capable of 12's?

Yes it is a GS and yes they did install a 89 GS-T motor. I have no idea where they got it, im buying this car used. I was advised to replace the stock drivers axle with an awd version with my mods because it is very likely it wont last.

Not sure if the BOV is venting or recirculating. Recirculating is better right?

With traction im hoping to see mid 12's. :thumb:

Yeah, it's still bench racing. :) But at the end, you said you're hoping for 12's, and that's okay in my book. Hopefully you'll get there.

It's interesting they said it's an '89 motor, since there weren't any '89 GSTs. And to install a 4g63 in a car that came with a 420a is considered extremely impractical and expensive to do. Got any pics of the car?

Stock intercooler and 23 psi, i smell heat soaked motor with a blown motor in your future, and did you tune the engine managment.

The pictures you see are how the car is now. We pick it up on Monday and most of the mods I mentioned will be installed next week. We are also putting on a SBR exhaust ported manifold.

The heat soaking will be combated with meth/water injection. The stock intercooler is only temp though. I buy the intercooler upgrade next month. Money was to tight this month.

Going with the DSM Link.

What do you guys think of BFG G FORCE T/A KD Tires for the track?

by the way it looks in the pics the car was never a non turbo car to begin with, look at the miounting points, cross member, no place for the stock ecu in the engine compartment, they even swapped over the cruise control stuff?? i would like to see pics of the car before and during the swap process, all stuff need to be air chizzled out and other mounts welded in, i mean the list goes on, the swap looks as if it were a 95 gst to begin with not a 420a non turbo.
