cigarette lighter and ignition light up blue
Ok, i love my car, and i want it to be perfect, or as close as a dsm will get. But anyways, i've got a nice CD player that lights up blue, blue neons under the seats and dash, blue gauges, and my turbo timer even lights up blue. What i was wanting to know is if its possible, how could i make the rings around the cigarette lighter and ignition light up blue. And if its not possible, how do i just unplug the light.
Thanks,
-Alex

Im not sure how to unplug your ignition light but to unplug your cigarette lighter light is easy, you just undo all the bolts on your center console and it pulls out pretty easy and theres an electrical plug thats hooked into it that unhooks real easy.

for the cigarret lighter when you take out the center piece there is a little light bulb that turns on, maybe if you can find a small bulb cover/condom thing to go over it then it will light up blue. Or just get a bulb that size that lights up blue.

Wow! Well if you want to have the "perfect" DSM, yet something as simple as this troubles you.. i wish you the best of luck.. it does not get any easier.
Btw, someone already answered how to do it.. but I will repeat.. you don't have to remove the center console.. just remove the driver side panel.. you will see the connections to the cig lighter.. one is a light bulb.. take it out.. replace bulb.

I think if you can figure out the bulb size you could probably get a LED that is the same size. Try e-bay. There's a lot of replacement LED's that fit all over the car.
