Looking for a reputable place to do a engine removal and rebuild. Car spun a rod bearing. :toobad: Any options would be greatly appreciated.

Hey ive been watching this thread since yesterday hoping somebody would post something but i guess ill jump in. Are you willing to ship it out or do you want to stay local? Whats your budget?

Local....the budget is 2k maybe......... turn around time is important. It may be the head and not the block. Lookin for a good place that does good work and knows dsm's.

well at dallasdsm.org alot of people swear by brian at mudpit performance he's located in Princeton Texas, he knows his stuff and has built some 10 seconds cars i believe. id give him a ring. but i hope time isn't an issue on how quick you want it done.

because i put my car was in his shop and took almost half a year for a tranny rebuild and a head rebuild with some other mods. not knocking him but i didn't feel like it should of took that long.(my personal opinion)

but none the less his work was reputable. plus he has like the lowest labor rates in the performance industry like 50$ an hour or 45$ don't quote me on the digit parts but id advise calling him. :thumb:
