Can I tell by the VIN # what motor is in my Talon? I was told that at a certain point in 92 that they switched to the 7 bolt motor is this true? if so how can i tell which motor i have without tearing the whole thing apart? I need to know soon so i can order a rebuild kit.

Also you can check by the oil pan if it's a 6-bolt or 7-bolt. Look at the VFAQ.com again. It's there. Most 92's are all 6-bolts.
