Turbo/Blown Motor Question

Ok here is the deal, my motor blew. Anyways to make a long story short, I lost 1 cyclinder. I basically collapsed my ringlands (this is normal for a 420A that experiences massive boost creep). Anyways I'm getting a ton of blowby naturally. I'm getting smoke (white) out of the breather and oil under boost. I don't care about this motor because I have a built one that's going in.

My main concern is my turbo. I know that I'm burning oil, what I'm wondering is, am I getting it in the exhaust housing and on the wheel? I really don't need my seals going on me. I haven't dropped in the new motor because I don't really have the time at this point. If I do end up having oil on the wheel, how do I clean it? Carb cleaner? I appreciate as much advice as I can get. Thanx!

I don't think there's any way for anyone to tell you if you have oil on it. Just go look at it. I'm not trying to be a jackass, I just don't know what you would like for us to do for you.

i've seen the same thing on another turbo'd gs. we found tons of oil in the I/C pipes, the smoke out of the catchcan, all that noise.

all we did was turn the turbo up on its compressor side and let it all drain out. after the rebuilt and reassemble, everything was fine. the seals we still good in the turbo.

i pretty sure you'll be ok. but if your still scared, send it out for a rebuild.
