That me just give a back story quick; I was tearing down the head to replace the valve seals that had started to leak and figured since I had it all apart (and since I scored a sweet deal on the Web 264/272 cams and some Manley springs) I would do a little upgrading :hellyeah: Well, I have everything almost all buttoned up and when I went to install the stocks cams onto the new camshafts I realize the the dowels are bigger than the hole in the cam gears... Is this normal? Do the cam gears need to be drilled out to fit? They slide on and off snugly on the stock cams, so I'm lost. I put a micrometer on them and the dowels are all little over 6mm, and the holes in the cam gears is slightly less than 6mm. I hope somebody can offer some insight for what to do, thanks in advance.

I can post pics and exact measurements when I get off work.
