exhaust gasket

Ok, quick retarded question in need of answer. I just got all my new seals and gaskets today. Bought a Mitsubishi exhaust gasket, part # MR323654. It's a 4-layer metal gasket and is identical on both mounting surfaces except there are dimples through all 4 layers pointing in one direction. So do the simples point toward the cyl head, or the manifold? Thanks.

I have installed mine both ways before and have never had no problems with leaking.

Yea i switched to OEM mitsu gaskets a while back because the Felpro gaskets were a POS. i noticed them too(dimples) but could not find a reason why they wouldnt work on way or another.
