well the other day i was at a stop light and i started hearing this noise and when i got home i opened the hood to find this weird noise,im thinking of this causes:

1. one off the accessories pulleys(ac,power steering,waterpump,alternator)
2. water pump
3. timing belt tensioner(6 months old)
4. timing pulleys(idle pulley)
5. oil pump
if u have any other suggestions how to fix this sound thanks u, right now i cant do anything to the car due to a dislocated shoulder.
thanks for the help.

To me it sounds like a belt rubbing on plastic...
- Check for abnormal belt wear i.e. frays, rubbing, etc.
- Pull the timing belt covers and inspect the plastic for rub marks.
Anything squeak when its cold out and you initially start the car?

You didnt really give us any description of this noise so theres nothing we can do. Whats it sounds like, is there anything you can do to make it temporarily stop? Things like this will help us help you.
