will my motor is in the shop and i just want to make sure that i ask the right questions, like if they have ever done a 4g63 motor before, if anyone can help me ask the right questions that would be a big help.....

one more think i picked up a block that had a BSEK in it and i was wanting to know if i will have to put in another one with the shop redoing the motor??

they are butting together my motor with eagle rods, 9:0.1 pistons, with a OEM crank, the the head will be stock valves, with BC springs, with some 272's..i for got the head that I'm using is a 7 bolt head with a 6 bolt block..

the shop told me that they can put the whole thing to gether, I'm not just talking about butting the head on the block I'm talking about making it ready to drop in the car, i fell good about this shop i just want to make sure that i ask all the right questions..

They can reuse the BSEK.

Its not going to be hard to remove it, they probably wont even charge you extra.

A 4g63 isn't anything special when it comes to a motor. They still have to check bearing clearances, piston to wall clearance, ring end gap, things of that nature just like any other motor. As long as they sound knowledgeable about motor assembly there should be no problems. BSEK can be reused as long as they don't damage it when they remove it.

I believe you should know already what performance characteristics that you expect to get from your upgrades ands mods. Most folks say, "Oh! I want 400 HP" things like that. If you are going to 272 cams, in and out, I would say that you are going to use 1mm OS valves, right? Don't waste your money on porting the head if it is a 1G.
