Mits evo head gasket.

Ok so I rebuilt my enigine and it ran great except the coolant leak from the head bc I failed to have my head Decked. So I was using this 80$ Mitsubishi metal gasket for the evo's, I didn't even drive the car a mile on that headgasket, do I have to buy another? It looks great, not bent no melting... Can I just clean it really good and put it back on? Can I use break cleaner to clean it? Or should I just go with the composit gasket? Help!

The only way to run a mls headgasket is to have the head and block decked. An autoparts store felpro composite has been proven to run 500+whp, plenty for most builds. I would check the head for flatness while it's off.

Interesting, the Mitsubishi mechanic said that if I get the head plained and use the mopar headgasket sealant then I should be fine.... I don't like choosing opinions.... What to do!?
