Nephew knocked my piston over. do i need another one

my little nephew (2yrs old) just topped giving me a bad day. he knocked over my piston and it fell on its side. :cry: this is what happened. i don't now if i should worry about putting them in. I really broke and im trying to get my car back and running. can i still put these in :pray: or do i have to get a new one. :(

I would just take some sand paper to it and smooth it out. The rings are what seals up the cylinder. So, as long as the ring lands were not damaged, I don't see why you couldn't put them back in.
 
What he said, it doesnt look that horrible. Just make sure you smooth it out so there is not outward or upward obscursions (spelling) and make sure its smooth so it doesnt rub the piston walls the wrong way. You should be fine though.
 
Yea I would not be concerned about that at all. Just take a fine flat file to the top and it will be like new.
