Ok before you remove this thread, I know it doesn't really belong here but I have tried fuel, and 2.0l performance with out anyone replying. I need to get answers to my questions. Maybe only the more informed people can give me an answer.

I'm buying a VPC in the next week. It came off of a Evo 1-3(not sure which). Now I was wondering will the harness fit on a first gen Talon tsi. It probably won't, but you never know. My next question is will I have to get a different chip for my car. I know if people have 660 injectors, and have a 550 chip it doesn't matter if you have a S-AFC. But will it matter in my case because the chip is not only different injectors, but also from a EVO. They are both 4g63, and very similar, so will it make a difference?

Also, what is the best VPC combo? (GCC, SAFC, AFR, etc.)
What gives the best tunability? Which is the easiest to tune with? With what combo do I have to have the right chip with, other the S-afc?

Thank you and again please do not remove.

[Mod edit: I didn't remove it but I fixed your spelling mistakes (see the bold sections). Please in the future if you really want to get your questions answered, spend a little more time on the questions.]

Most people go with AFC/VPC combo because the AFC is more popular than the GCC. But if you ask buschur he will tell you GCC. I guess depends who you talk to.

I really like how the afc/vpc work together. It is probably the best margin you can use and you wil not have to have the correct chip either. Call a shop to get specific answers to your questions. Im not sure about the harness, but a vpc is a vpc you know. If you have a chance to look at it then do it and see if its the same

How is the VPC by itself as a tuning device? I'm buying one very soon all by itself. The previous owner used it by itself as well on several different cars. What am i sacrificing by not having an SAFC?

Thanks for not removing the thread. Im sorry about the spelling, but I never have been very good at it. Is there some sort of spell check on here?

Why does Buscher recomend the GCC?? Does anybody know ? Is the GCC easy to tune with? I can pick up a GCC for 200 cnd, so maybe this should be the route im going. But I already know how to tune with the S-afc. Plus i would not need the right chips. Hummmm...........need nore info. Any info you guys have out there, please do share. thanks:dsm:

Because he went 7.8 with a VPC/GCC combo, that's why I think he will recommend GCC.

Thanks for the sarcastic remark. I meant for fuel control. But your coment was a funny non the less. :p

When did i miss a reply? I check it a bunch of times. One person said that the Harness would not work. Which i thought was right. But then someone said it might. Other then that no one replyed.

I wish it only took that to run 7.8!! Still very impressive considering he still using the stock ECU I heard he going standalone now. (about time!)

Well what is going to offer more tunablity? why will it? try to expnd on the answers if possible. thanks:dsm:
