I have an oil leak from somewhere under the lower timing cover. Getting ready to do a T-belt job. After replacing the seals or whatever component is leaking I would like to test for leaks before putting it all back together.

Anyone know if spinning the oil pump with an electric drill (max 750 RPM) will create enough pressure to simulate normal driving conditions?

It sounds like 750 RPM may not generate a whole lot of pressure then.

Thanks for the response.:)
