I am building a 2g pistons and 1g rod setup but here is the question I have for you guys..

I know that I want my clearences to be between .008 and .0016 BUT, after plastigaging everything how do I change the clearences???? IE, make them tighter or looser???

same with the mains.

thanks for the help in advance.
Andrew.

If you've got the measurements, write them down. Then clean everything and try again and write down those numbers just so you have a clear idea of where you are. If the clearances aren't right, the easiest thing is to get different size (oversized) bearings. If you need to shave anything, then it's probably the wrong size bearings, as in you already got the oversized. You might be able to avoid unnecessary machine work, but it might be inevitable.
