My ex's car has a 60-1 and it sucked in a vacuum hose resulting on 3 bent fins. The turbo still spins freely so I guess it didn't bent the shaft. I'm pretty sure that bent fins will decrease the turbo efficiency, but it should still perform pretty good. You guys think the turbo is toast? Can I buy a new compressor wheel and bolt it on? Or should the whole assmebly should be sent for balancing and stuff?

Yeah the car is still driven. I just wanna know if the turbo will still perform good enough (IE I don't want the efficiency of a 16G with the 60-1 lag).

Bent fins will hurt the turbos efficiency as well as throw it out of balance. You should send it out and have it gone over. When replacing a compressor wheel you will need to rebalance it.

Yeah I drove it and boosted it up to 15 psi. It feels the same though, but if it's off-balance that means it might damage the bearings eventually.
