Thats just pure sickness! I take it you left part of the upper radiator support so you could clear the headlight brackets?

The upper radiator support is custom as well, it bolts in and is easily removed when needed. The turbo sits high enough to gravity drain still, so it will be the same as any other turbo as far as feed and return goes.

Maybe 25-30 lbs at the most I'd say. I didnt weigh the pieces I cut off, but the stuff i put in place of it weighs under 10 lbs.

Here's what I decided to do about mounting the intercooler and radiator. Once the radiator gets here I'll make the mounting tabs for the ic and radiator to bolt onto the bar. The bar goes all the way forward and rests in the front bumper. I plan on adding a tow hook to it that stick through the bottom of the front bumper slightly.

Aaron, that looks great. Would you mind explaining a bit about how you fabricated that radiator support tubing? I'd appreciate it!

I used 1/4" tube iirc, I used a small hand bender and a torch to bend the tubing itself. Here's a couple pictures of how it attaches to the body. The only thing it really supports is the head lights and the positioning of the front bumper. The bar going down in the front supports the weight of the bumper.

That is freaking sweet, any trick to measuring everything so it bolts into place without doing it 50 times? Did you use/make a jig?

No tricks really, I just made the pieces that bolt to the body and the front bumper first, then ran the tubing to connect them. I had the front bumper bolted to the fenders and the front was being held up where it should normally set.

That is very cool. I really like your take on the upper support. As I've been doing some research to this myself, I've notice everyone has their own take on doing this and they all look great. Good job!

Haven't had much time lately to get much done on the car. The front end is finished aside from brackets for the radiator and trans cooler. The manifold is finished as well.
