I just recently bought a 92 STI AWD. I got it for 400 bucks! It needs some work but actually runs great. I'm looking to pull the engine and have some head work done, (valves, springs, cams, ect.) anyone have any suggested machine shops that can do good work?

Hey tommy, congrats on the steal! STI's have alot of great potential.
For your machine work you may want to look into Phillips Racing in Grove City. they're a little slow, but they do great work.

good luck!

Hey man , I had the napa in Ashland ky bore/prep my block. He came highly recommended and did good work for a good price. He doesn't assemble the engines though if that's what your looking for. He does alot of import stuff. I heard he does good head work. I also heard ironton machine shop does great work but they are slow. I actually live close to you. I live in Sciotoville.
What color is your car?

That's cool. I haven't seen but a very few talon's around my area. Always good to know I'm not alone! My talon looks to be about the same color as yours. It needs to be painted though, it has a few bad spots.

In Xenia near Dayton there is Zjabel Machining, Tommy Zjabel he is extremely good. He was invited every year to the PRI show in Indy to setup up and machine parts for everyone to view. If you do not know what the PRI show is, it is the Performance Racing Industry shows, it is the worlds largest hardcore racing show and the best are invited to setup up and show off there work and skills. We have two machine shops where I live but I will still drive 25 mins. away to go to Tommy. I am about 3 mins. from Jays shop everday as I work just down the road from him, I do not know where he takes his stuff but it might be Georgias speed just down the road from him in Dayton.
