The South,
Okay, I have purchased the T3 manifold from DNperformance with the external gate for a 40mm and am currently waiting on its arrival. What I'm wondering is..... Is anyone actually running this on their car yet, and how far away does their turbo clear the water pipe. This is a pic off of DNP's site of the exact manifold I am talking about. If anyone has this exact manifold, please let me know. I have only found owners with the Mitsu flange one which is a totally different design.

Told ya;)

Well its at the local UPS waiting to be shipped to my house, and i havent heard any major issues w/ the DN products. I will review fitment and whatever when I put it on in a month or so. It was $629 shipped. (Usually I wouldn't pay that much for bling, but I needed a T3 manifold and something with a external gate...:thumb: ) Very fast shipping :thumb: Doesn't seem like anyone on here or dsmtalk have this exact one and if they do, they won't speak up so I guess I'm just the guinea pig for myself on this product.

I think you will be very happy with the header. I had mine jet hot coated to keep under hoods temps down. Just something to consider.

I got the header today. One word: Beautiful. It is top notch and it's flawless minus small scratches :thumb: but oh well. The craftsmanship is super nice. The only thing that kinda concerns me is that it is going to move the turbo placement about 4 inches towards the passenger side. As long as it clears the lower radiator hose, I shall be good :thumb:

they need a groupbuy on these, those are so nice,

any pictures of it installed? what turbo are you running?:thumb: :thumb: :talon:

If anyone is intersted in these I can get them for around $550+ shipping. PM me if interested.

i got mine last tuesday....T3/T4 one without the WG flange (i'm using a PTE with a 5 bolt housing- WG flange on the O2 housing)-
no clearance issues, but it moved the turbo farther forward about 3/4 in.- i can't see myself getting it coated anytime soon...it just looks too sweet......
need to get the damn thing running first before I can make any performance statements......

posts some pics once its all in the car and done, seems like it will look nice...let us know

Turbospoolinin - Your collection of Mods that you have on dispaly at the local shop is quite impressive.

Can't wait to see the finished product.

By the way to answer the question about what turbo he's running.

Elite has it marked I believe as a 14B ;)

Gimme 5 months and I'll hopefully have it all ready , done and tuned by then. But about 2 months to have everything else complete and on the engine stand. As for the turbo, it's just a regular old turbo with a 14b sticker on it :D Nah, its a SC61.

we have used a few of these. Customers have not complained at all. We have run both the mitsu/t3 and t4 flanged manifolds for all kinds of apps. one will be on the dyno this coming weekend with a GT3255. The mani's seem to be holding up pretty well.

Well, I can say that a Tial 40mm is what the standard flane is on the manifold shown above. As for the flange, you'd probably have to weld your own T4 on there if you want it.

Mine just came in yesterday...I don't even want to open the box and tarnish it's beauty. :)

They are very sexy mine is not bling anymore but it beats melting the timing belt cover and soaking the rad with 1000* heat
