power potential of the evo3 16g vs. the big 16g

what are max power levels for each one?

what is the spool up time like?

Search man. Im sure theres at least 50 threads on this. But to sum it up the EvoIII is lighter and seems to have more potential.

The Evo III 16G spools up faster, and will flow more air. No brainer.

What do you mean, not a big difference? Shape's car went faster the first day out with the EVOIII, then ANY car ever did with the big 16g as far as I know.

For basically the same price, will you buy something that spools slower and has less power potential?

EVOIII16g makes the Big16g obsolete. No question.

well we can close this out... I am going with a t3/t04e with turbonetics manifold and tial wastegate..... got a good deal and the motor is ready for it.

Kyle, actually, it was the 3rd time out with it.

And you sure have changed your tune about the turbo. Still believe that the small 16G is better? Compressor map, shmompressor map.

I just bought the EVO III a little after Christmas and I think it is an awesome turbo. For the money and what you can get out of t it is awesome. Just my opinion though.
