How Much HP--HKS Adjustable Cam Gears?

Just got full exhaust, not i want to get cams, how much HP and TQ would that give me guys? Any input would be great. Thanks

Cams and cam gears are completely different, niether of which is going to do anything on the stock 2g turbo.

I thought the cam gears would give me some kind of improvement in HP or at least TQ. Pullies would deffinatly give me some kind of improvement right?

I'd suggest you following the Tuning Guide before you buy those things. You can get more power for your money by buying better mods. Good luck.

Cams would give you an increase, however you would be better off buying a turbo before a set of cams.

Cam gears do not give you HP, they move your power band around. You can take HP from the mid range and move it up to for a 5-7hp increase from 5500+ but you will lose that 5-7hp from down low. It's no different than advancing the ignition timing on a car with a distributor like a Honda.

Really cam gears are ment to be used with cams then dialed in on a dyno so you get your power band right were you want it. Cam gears on their own are nothing more then a show piece. People who just arbritrarly advance intake 2-3deg and retard exhaust 1-2 deg (which seems to be the norm for people who don't goto a dyno) have no idea what that is doing to their power band. Genearlly it moves power out of the normal engine operating range and does nothing but hurt power.

DSMTurboEclipse is right, just follow the tuning guide it will not lead you astray.
