Ok, here we go. I'll start off with what I have,
99 GSX (auto) w/
-Greddy FMIC
-Type S BOV
-Profec B
-16G Exhaust Mani. (the DSMparts one) old one cracked
-K&N FIPK
-Guages obviously
-62 MM BBK Throttle body w/ gasket matched intake manifold.
Problem is that my boost leaks when i'm at WOT. Set at 16 leaks to 12psi. ONLY AT WOT. It DOES hold boost at 16psi under any other throttle position.
I did a leak test and found stock Throttle Body was leaking out of the shaft, so I just upgraded. No leaks when tested. vaccum readings are normal.
BOV is kinda old, got it used from a friend, could the spring just be worn? It's almost all the way to hard, about 2 threads only showing and it still flutters under low boost and a good whoosh under high,
