Ok, well i just ordered a jdm motor from my uncle who sells them, and its a full front clip, i had him get me the one with the yellow top injectors and the 16g, i also had been searching up info about the cyclone maniold that they use, i know that you have to use the jdm ecu, which the motor comes with, tho someone said that u have to get rid of your A/C to use it !? which didnt make much sense to me, considering there basically the same motor, also i saw that u had to run the vaccume lines differenty, has anyone actually done the " swap " and made the butterfly runners work how there supposed to in the first place ? i just think it would be really cool to have a functional one, and it actually do what its intended to do, btw sorry if this is in the wrong place, it seemed a little more than basic , but not way up there

The Cyclone manifold needs the JDM ECU to use the butterflies in the manifold. You can just use the USDM ECU and leave the butterflies unused. You may be able to use them with some sort of solenoid activator ( with a DSMlink or standalone ), but thats just a thought. I believe you should use the A/C that it comes with ( if it does ).

well like i said my car comes with the jdm ecu so...i wanna take advantage of the manifold if i can, and if u use the usdm ecu on the cyclone it actually hurts performance, what im getting at, if its worth the time to get it working, ill do it, cuz its not costing me any money

How much did you pay for your cyclone engine? Im very interested in picking one up for my GS-T. You said your uncle sells them, I was wondering if you could give me a price on an engine.

Thanks

Derek
