What internals suggested for 20psi boost for a 1g talen

I want to add a 20 psi boost with a turbo on my 91 talon. But first im going to rebuild the engine. While im in there i thought i might put some aftermarket parts in there if i need them. What would i need to add to the engine internally so it can take the pressure. Pistons, Rods, Head Gasket? Also is it possible to get the b14 up to 20psi with a boost control or would i have to buy a B16G turbo?

okay you have a nt, you don't know much about turbo's, and you don't seem to have done any research on turboing a nt dsm. i'd love to give you a technical answer, but its just going to lead to more questions about things that i've already answered before.

go do your research, then come back and ask a well informed legitimate question.

Even though he needs to do a lot more research. If you read his post he said B16G. I do not know if he got lucky or if he knew what he was asking, but B16G is a common abbreviation for Big 16G.

If you do a little more research you should find the info easily. The stock turbo on 1G 5-speed cars was the 14b.

For a starters you could get some plain old 1G rods with some 2G pistons and a stock 1G head gasket. You should be good for at least 400whp. Thats probably more HP than your ride will ever see. Get a B16G if you intend to play with 20+ psi.
