2G Will 98 ECU work in a 95?

i have a 98 gsx and a buddy has a 95 eprom ecu...his is an auto and i just want it for the eeprom for dsmlink...can he run my 98 ecu in his 95 auto turbo?..thanks

yes but he will have to swicth his trigger wire around in order to get his spark inthe right order because the 97 andup were backwards than a95 to 96 .if you do which u will have to have your trigger wiresone is black and blue and the other is red and blue you need to swap these in ordert get the firing inthe right order.he will have to do the same in order to get his in the right oreder hope this didnt confuse you if so ask me on email. the plug your looking for goes to the coil here is a pic
