HKS PFC F-CON (programed fuel computer system) Whats it worth?

Hey.. I've got this HKS PFC F-CON programed fuel managment system that I don't have any use for. It came with a 90 eclipse. We've got a 97 GTS so it will NOT work with it. I don't know anything about it besides they go for over 1000.00 new... This one looks to be in MINT condition... all in original box... Honestly I don't think it's been installed.. It looks brand new.... Anyone know where I could sell this and how much to ask?? It's for a 89-94 eclipse...

About $100-175. They are not worth much so don't get any grand ideas about getting 5-600 bux for it ...

I've sold lots and lots of used stuff on ebay. I know what to not expect and what to expect money wise. However.... Do people still have an interest in this type of product? If not, I can see this going for that amount, however if there is still a demand then why wouldn't someone want to save a few hundred of the normal 1000.00 sticker price?

Those two for sale on ebay are a used and in not so great condition. Mine is in MINT and hasn't even been installed!

Somethings just don't make sense i suppose...

also, what would a HKS EVC system be worth???

I have one of hose in mint condition as well!

The thing about the PFC F-COn is nobody uses it anymore so there is just no value to running it. IT's old ass technology that is being outdone by newer cheaper and better products so it's really a dinosaur that needs to be put to rest.

The EVC is worth money as it's still doing the same job as current boost controllers. What does your EVC look like and I can give you a guestimate on what it's worth. I have an earlier EVC on my car, it has 3 buttons (Low High Volume) and a Volume Nob on it that you can turn to adjust your boost setting to whatever you want. It's worth about $150 in descent shape. If its a newer style with a screen on it and 4 smaller buttons they are $250 etc.. Have a pic? I can tell you what Gen it is and what it's worth.

Yeah, its like what you describe! Earlier model but in excellent shape!

I've got a few questions about it.... How much HP gains should I expect out of it if I DO install it?

How hard is it to install?? I'm not to mechanically savvy but I am electronicaly savvy!!

Will it cause any problems? My main concern is someone jumping in the car and cranking up the volume knob and harming something...

Guess more reason to hide the little control module...

The HP gains depend on the amount of boost you run. With no supporting mods on a stock turbo, you'd be lucky to get any HP gain above the boost controller I assume you already have. The main benefit will be traction. It can put less boost in at lower RPM (traction), and higher boost around the higher end of the tach.
