6 bolt crank

will a 6 bolt crank work in a 1g 7 bolt block. may sound a little strange but im just trying to cut cost since i already have a 6bolt crank lying around.

I bought a 90 AWD 5 spd that had a 7 bolt block with a 6 bolt crank, so I know it can be done. Just make sure ( like with anything else on DSMs ) that you have it build correctly with the right tolerences. My 90 wasn't and walked by 3/8th of an inch. Ouch. A good rebuild is gold.
