Ok guys i plan on getting the RNR 2.5 in o2 eliminator downpipe pretty soon. Will this be a bad idea if i'm using the t25 still? I plan on using the t25 for awhile until it either dies or i graduate from college which is in another 1.5 years. Will i get uncontrollable boost?

I have a rnr 2.5 inch 02 elimanoter turbo back with high flow cat internal dump i love it. Its a bi*** getting the dowpipe mounted. We had to keep rising the lift droping it down to torque it right. You will notice a quicker spool and its real quiet intial you hit woot. as for boost creep no you have nothing to worry about. I say go for it

Ok you said its pretty quiet until you hit wot? How much louder is it when you add a downpipe? I already have a 3in catback with a 2.5 in test pipe but will the downpipe make you hear the turbo even more? Also i'm not too familiar with the o2 eliminator downpipes? But isn't the o2 sensor mounted on the housing or is it not? What do i do with the o2 sensor then? I feel like such i newbie but hey i'm still learning.

"O2 Eliminator" is actually a misnomer. It doesn't really eliminate the O2 sensor; it eliminates the O2 sensor housing as a separate piece. The sensor housing and downpipe are all one piece in an "O2 Eliminator" setup. See the RnR web site for pictures and it will become more clear.

Straying from the topic a bit. How hard would it be to run an external dump on the t25? I wanna build up everything i need for a bigger turbo before i actually get the turbo. I knwo i should do it all at once but its not gonna happen. I plan on getting a big t28 farther up the road. I've never heard of anybody running an external wastegate on the t25 but who knows????

Well, an external dump and an external wastegate are two different things. And if you're only going as far as a T-28, you don't need either one. But sure, you can do either one with the T-25.

haha, sorry i meant external dump on the t25. I don't want or need an external wastegate on my stock turbo. Where can i go about getting or learning about how to hook up an external dump on my t25?

Have fun dropping the turbo to get this install done.
Might as well port the wastegate while you got it down if it was me cause thats what I did.
