75mm throttle body Magnus Intake

I am going to be buying a Magnus Intake manifold in the next few months. I have an HKS Supra Type R intercooler w/ 75mm/3" inlet/outlet and have the 3" GM MAF mounted in the UICP. I REALLY want to just keep it 3" all the way but not if it will benefit me rather then after the MAF going back to 60mm piping to the 60mm throttle body. Plus the added cost of the 75mm throttle body which i am not to concerned about, because if it ill worth it, i can wait for the addition funds to build. I also will probaly be running a PTE 50 trim from DSMotorsport.

large tb's arent really street friendly, from what I was told by marco when I bought my intake manifold. its hard to start out smooth with a manual from the way it sounded. makes the car very jumpy

3" ic piping?!? :laugh: a car with 2.25" piping and a 1gtb will be doing circles around you. happy boosting

^^^I wouldnt go that far, what are your goals for the car? drag street drag/street. little things u should consider. bigger isnt always better but it always makes me feel better u might have a little more lag than some with smaller pipes but lag is just part of life when you have any thing bigger than a hairdryer. there are many more problems associated with larger throtle bodys biggest one is them braking. some people just dont have good luck with them. it becomes extremly important to get the bov(s) set right to keep from breaking the tb. just remember no matter what anyone says or tells you to do its your car and your the only one why has to be happy with it.
