Nova,
would there be a huge disadvantage (like a pressure drop), if I just plumbed the outlet of one SMIC into another SMIC and then to the TB. Don't mention getting a FMIC, im just asking since i happen to have an extra SMIC and am up for a little fab work.

Two SMIC's in series would be close to 2x the pressure drop. How about cutting the endtanks off and fabbing up some endtanks for a top-to-bottom FMIC using the two cores?

Read through Dejon tool's website, they have done a dual SMIC setup and explain the disadvantages. They also have an FMIC made up of several SMIC cores which could give you an idea like Mike was talking about. Their site is http://www.dejontool.com/
