oil problem

durring the past few days my dipstick has started to pop out a couple of times when im driving putting oil all over my clean engine i heard this is comon on 1st gen but is there anything i can do to fix it?

i had the same prob...i just bought a new stick from machv and haven't had the prob since

Another fix is to drill a hole in the top of the big Rubber Vacuum plugs - then thread it over the curled handle - seals great - It will NOT blow off.

You can also kink the tube, or replace the O-rings on the stick.... and I think the dealer price on a nice, shiny new stick is on the order of $9.
