ok short route piping is replacing the stock ic piping and having shorter piping to the fmic right? bc i was reading the greddy fmic off of rre and it uses piping to and from the stock ic location, so does this hurt performance rather than having the short route piping?

All things being equal yes. Not to an astromical degree but varying depending the bends and pipe length of each system.

I would just get a FMIC kit that comes with short route piping.

or a FMIC w/o pipes that flows side to side... Inlet and outlets either both facing rearward or facing out from the tank ends. I prefer the second type. Then get a IC pipe kit.. Greddy makes two 50mm and 60mm... There are better beaded components outhere.

I'm getting a pipe kit that is universal but beaded.... You will see how later... that includes the best clamps (t-bolt) and couplers (designed for beaded pipes) available. It may cost me around $500 total for my FMIC and pipes and do alot of meticulous DIY but the results will be equivelent to over 1k in a shop kit.

i just did a search on it and found a couple good topics. im just wondering if any1 makes short route piping for the greddy big fmic?

No the outlet on one of the endtanks faces the wrong way...

The greddy core is ok but there are better FMIC's around...

oh ok bc im kinda close to buying prayforgsx's gsx and its got a apexi short route fmic but i was thinking of changing it to a greddy or dejon tool race fmic

Geez....

Just get a bigger FMIC core with endtanks that have outlets like the apexi.....

Switch the IC and keep the pipes.

You already had a good set of short route FMIC pipes. Changing everything for a larger core was completely uneccessary.
