Hey fellas! I recently installed a 3'' 02 with a 35mm Turbosmart external wastegate with a 15psi spring and a 3'' downpipe and messed with my mbc so i can set it at 15psi my boost gauge was hitting 20psi.So i unhooked my mbc and i hooked up my turbo vac to the external wastegate to see if the wastegate would open up and it did. so i checked for boost leaks and found a slash on one of the hoses that connects my intercoller pipes.I fixed the problem and now it hits 15psi and holds steady and then it starts farting(or something). So i hooked up my mbc the right way since the last owner had it connected all wrong, this is the way i hooked it up,tell me if thats right.First off the two hoses that come from the MBS i took those off and plugged up both those nipples and i did the same to the nipple on the turbo and on the air intake nipple,Then i put a T in between the hose from the blow off valve and the intake manifold and hooked it up to another T and hooked up the boost gauge on one end and one end of the mbc on the other and then hooked up the other end of the mbc to the lower nipple on the external wastegate.Did i do it correct? If not can u guys help.I did'nt have time to mess with the mbc but i will try tomorrow. It hits 20psi but thats because i had the mbc turned all the way closed so maybe thats the problem right? It hits 20psi but does'nt fart anymore,it just hits 20psi.To tighten the mbc is tu turn up boost and to loosen is to reduce boost right?Allright fellas any help would be appriciated. Thanks and hope u guys can help.Later!

It will work however, you should tap the boost gauge closer to the intake manifold as the way it's set up now, you're probably reading lower than what's really in the intake. Also, try to keep your vacuum lines as short as possible.

Back out the boost conroller screw all the way for less boost.
