rear O2 sensor

Ive read that you can eliminate your rear O2 sensor, is that true and will it affect how the motor runs at all? Here is the steps i found on how to do it.

a cheaper and easier method is just to wrap the second o2 sensor in tin foil and hang it outside of the exhaust(dont forget to plug up the hole).

Nope the 2nd o2 sensor doesnt do crap, just makes sure your cat is working. Who needs a cat anyway.

will the foil trick work on the 2gnt's also? what purpose does the foil serve? sounds interesting, somebody fill me in...trust

the foil doesnt do anything, just protects the sensor from dirt and stuff on the road.
