my old ones were denso iridiums and they started to go so i had the shop order me some NGK's one range colder. I work for the same company as my dad so i left my car back in the garage and he said he'd put them in for me. so far so good. The car was running better. So i went out last night with the car to a street racing scene. I didnt plan on racing just watch. There was a Dodge viper hennesey there, lambo diable, a porsche, lots of wrx's and evo's, and the typical honduh's. Now its 3 am and after being and i decided to go home. Me and a buddy went down together and you can imagine on an open highway at 3 in the morning so we decide to race. First pass i go up to 100 and then shut down obviously i was winning. Second time i pick it up to 100 pass him and keep it there. I seem him comming up in my rearview so i hit it. At about 110, my friend told me i had flames out of my exhaust. So i pull over and the car and the car is studdering pretty bad. Luckily i was near my house so i make it home. The next morning i found my upper intercooler pipe slightly blew off so i had a boost leak there but i also pulled my spark plugs. Number 2 cylinder plug has completely melted. see pic 2. My dad ordered the wrong plugs. They were NGK BKR5ES. ok so i pick up the right plugs myself and install them. Now the car is still not running right. If i pull the plug from number 2 cylinder the car still runs the same crappy way. I dont kno what to do.

! I never let any counter parts guy decide what I need. Do the research in advance, that way he can't try to sell you something different. I had the same thing happen. The guy brought me N/A NGK plugs ( which would've been a disaster, I was running 20psi on a 16G ), but I was like what are you trying to do to me man? I gave him the correct part number for his store and he got it wrong!
