Well i got my blowoff valve now im just waiting for my uicp. I bought the universal hks bov instead of the kit for our cars. I was told i di'nt need to spend the extra money for the kit because i had a uicp flanged for it already. Am i going to have any problems installing this or what? Also is there anything i should know about when i am installing it. The directions i got are in japanese and i have no clue how to even begin to translate that junk.
Any help or comments are appreciated. I will be venting to atmosphere until i order the recirc kit.
Thanks

If you got the super sequential bov, you are going to need a special tool to get the c-clip into the flange. Other than that, dont forget to use the inline filter with the hose you use for your vacuum source. Also, you can make a recirculation kit yourself:

what tool do you use to get the c-clip off the mounting flange???? im putting in my upper intercooler piping soon and i need to know what tool to use to get that damn c-clip on and off.

I bought a four pack of those c-clip pliers from R&S Strauss for 10 bucks and they were definately not worth it! Now i know why they did'nt sell them in singles, cuz you need all four! The two small one both snapped, then one big one bent and when i went to bend it back it snapped. Finally one last one to try. I had to bend it to fit around the blowoff valves casing and with that and a screw driver i finally got it it. Was probably the hardest part of the whole installation.
Also after i put it on my boost now spike to about 15 or 16 psi before coming to a rest at 14psi. I don't have a boost controller yet. Any idea what might be causing this?
