need some help with my beater car (HONDA)

ok with everything going into my dsm i bought me a 97 civic hatchback for my daily driver. I hate the sound of hondas with a exhaust. i tried looking online but couldn't find anything. im looking for a sight that tells me everything i need to drop in a jdm integra type r motor. and if anyone knows a exhaust that i can put on with that motor that won't sound like crap.. i was thinking about just doing the swap and puttin on a intake .. i think that would make a nice daily drivre and a nice sleeper at the same time since they would see a exhaust the size of my thumb. i have found the motor/harness/tranny, and ecu for around 4 grand so i know what im looking at spending for parts.. thanks guys

I'm not trying to sound sarcastic or anything, but you might want to post this question in a honda forum, because there are alot of people in here that really dislike hondas. You might get better results by posting in another forum about this topic.

Go to hasport.com or hybridgarage.com Both are good sites and hasport has a complete list of what you need. Nice choice on the engine, I had a black 96 hatch I was going to do the same swap in but I bought my gst instead.

i don't care if they don't like hondas. i have a eclipse i don't know jack about hondas im not trying to build a 400hp honda and spend 20grand in doing it. i bought the car for 3 grand from my brothers friend who is in the army and is going over seas. i just wanted to swap in a stronger motor. like i said other than that the only mod i'd probally put on is a intake.. im not putting stickers, a body kit or anything of that nature. it was a great deal and 200hp in that car will get me around nice pretty good. and im sure it'll have less problems then my eclipse. and im sure someone on here knows a lil about the motor i want and swaps

alright... i had a apex ws on my civic.. nice and quiet.. roared when vtec kicked in.. i hear good things about the greddy evo and thermal r & d catbacks.. both sound nice... as far as what exhaust to get for the swap.. get the exhaust for the civic cause you'll be worried about fitment.. you can always get a cat made up for you that will fit to the b18c5 header and your hatch exhaust... good luck with your swap..
