Well I have been told that the DSM folks are the ones to talk to about turbo stuff so here goes. I have recently Turbo'd my 95 Mazda MX6 2.5L V6. I used a T3 Super 60 with a 60 A/R compressor housing. Well the remanufactured TUrbo I bought is leaking oil from the bearing housing so I have to send it in to have the seals re-done. It has already been established that the best T series Turbo for my Motor is a T3/T04 hybrid. The seller of the TUrbo has told me they will upgrade the turbo for me if I want. But.... Here is the thing that worries me. They are not replacing the T3 60A/R housing with a T4 Housing. They are going to bore out my T3 60 A/R housing to except either a 51 trim or a 57 trim T04 wheel. So my question is, is this a worth while upgrade to put a T4 wheel into a T3 housing? Keep in mind that On my high compression originaly N/A motor the largest amount of boost I will ever run is around 12-13 psi. 9 psi if tuned correctly can effectivly double my horsepower.. FOr now I will only be running 7 psi till I get a stand alone and bigger injectors.
