Hood vent Any ideas

My under hood temp get pretty crazy in the summer. I was think Vents the the Evo hood would help out a lot. Especially if it's right on top on the manifold and turbo.
I don't want to get an VIS invader hood. I prefer the stock metal hood.

i would like to do Something with my stock hood. I don't drive my car in the rain or bad weather so water is no big issue.

I would like ideas how to do it a keep it looking clean.

I was thinking of buying the mesh part and rubber surrounding on the Evo hood and intergate it into my stock hood.

I've also seen homemade extractors that looked REALLY cool(pun intended), lemme dig...

damn, its gone... Oh well, it was nice, well cut, simple, and it took heat out.

I have a hole on the hump...
It seems to help a lot, I'll try to take some pix and post it.

oh and my friend used some washers to lift the back of the hood about 1/4"and he says it helps

This acctually helps enorumsly because it created a cowl effect. I put a little remote home thermometer under my hood and lifted it then pulled my shims out and droped it back down and drove again. The difference near the air filter was like 10deg and that's the farthest place away from the back of the hood.
