EPROM Question

I tried looking this question up, but I could not find the answer im looking for. What exactly can the EPROM change and can I use it instead of buying a stand alone fuel management system and work for say a 400 horse power car? And does a afc 2 do the same thing?

You can have some one reprogram the ECU, I seriously doubt you could, but I dont know you.


You can edit the fuel maps for larger injectors, and mods done to your intake, deferent MAF's etc.

You can change your rev limiter seting or take it off completely (wouldn't do that)

and more.

Basicly you can have it programed for your exact setup within reasion.. and if you wanted it turned perfect I would think toss in a AFC and some dyno runs and there yea go.


And to answer your last question, yes.
