ok i saw a stroker crank on fasterthanyou.com that was a descend price and i heard about doing the same thing with a 4g64 crank.....is that the same thing just alittle cheaper of a way to do it or what?

wtf are you talking about. Speak English much? The crank used in the 2.3 is the 4g64 (2.4) crank

yeh the 4g64 crank in a 4g63 makes 2.3 put the 4g64 crank in a 4g64 and it makes 2.4 i dont understand why but that is the way that it is..

Simple you need after market rods if you use a 64 crank in a 63. Why? Because the deck hight is smaller. The reason you use a 64 crank in a 63 is because it because the 64 crank has a longer stroke. Of corse like I said you'll need after market rods if you use a 64 crank in a 63, or after market pistons if you want to use a 64 in a 2G. Most stroker kits are just stock 64 cranks with aftermarket rods.

The 4g64 and 4g63 rods are the same. You can use 6 bolt rods with the stroker crank, or any aftermarket rod you would use in a regular 6 bolt build up. The bigger the rod though and the more clearancing you need to do. To take care of the difference in deck height you raise the wrist pin 6mm on the piston. Consider the rod ratio/angle is already shyte on the 4g64, going to a shorter rod would be absurd. A few piston manufacturers stock these pistons, including Weisco anhd Ross.

And yes folks, English is the language we have all agreed upon for these forums. Wouldnt hurt to use it. :thumb:
