I'm planning for a trip down to local drag race track this friday. woohoo! finally! but I need some tips or advices :p

I'm thinking about putting either 100 octane gas or 110 octane gas for the big16G @ 20psi. FYI, i have been running 20psi with the 16g using 93 pump gas and still getting good timing (21 degree @ 7300rpm)... I guess my question is should I stick with 100 octane with 20psi or should I go higher boost like 22 psi with 110 octane gas? I'm more worry about my head gasket or head studs will blow away running insane boost...

Any other tips??

If you are already pretty well tuned on 94 octane and you ran higher octane gas you would run rich and probably do worse. My suggestion would be to either run pump gas or use race gas and run some serious boost.

Thx for the reply... How much boost will the stock engine hold? 22 psi? I have stock head studs still...
