Quick external wastegate question

Hey fellas! I have a quick question. I just purchased A 35mm Turbo Smart external wastegate from a local import shop. What i was wondering is How reliable are those wastegates and performance wise what do u guys think. I have a 3'' o2 housing with an external wastegate flange welded on the o2 pipe and the flange is for a 38mm so the 35 should fit right? I got it with the 15psi spring and im currently running 14psi so it should be allright right? I was going to purchase the tail because i have heard alot of good things about it but he non in stock and would have them after christmas but my car is in the shop at the time and i could not wait so i purchased the turbo smart.Did i make a wise decision or did i screw up? Give me some feedback on the wastegate as far as performance. Does of u who have it how loud are they and what kind of boost can they take? Allright fellas any info on this wastegate would be greatly appriciated. Is the installation the same as a tail or is it different? Hey Jim I need your advise as well bro. The external wastegate on a t25 kinda sucks. I'm running the tial on the t25 and if you notice, sometimes when the wastegate opens you will feel a power loss. I think this is only because you create alot of power at once and when the wastegate opens and the turbo plains off. As far as the 15 psi you should be ok but if there was a way to get a 12 or 14psi spring I would do it. I have a spring thats a 13.7 in mine and I used a boost controller and got it up to 17psi and I had no increase in performance that I could tell.......well maybe a little but not enough to push my engine that hard for a few extra hp gains. Alot of people don't like a external dump but I like mine, the way it sounds,reliability,and room for extra performance. Hope this helps.
