Looks nice, however I don't really know how much heat it holds in. I just don't like the idea of wrapping stuff because bolts love to fall out of turbo parts with the heating and cooling of everything all the time. If you wrap it you can't see anything. I lost two friggin bolts out of my turbo this year  and only noticed because I could see carbon building up on my water pipe that runs across the front of the motor.

heh, i have bolts comming out of everywhere, manifold, subframe etc, i got my car with a bag of bolts that fell out, LOL.

I have my header, 02 housing and dump tube coated. seems to help quite a bit.

If you use jet-hot 2000, yes it will lower your underhood temps.
Check out their website, www.jet-hot.com
The 2000 coating is good for 2400 degrees, and it can cut heat in half on the surface of your exhaust manifold, turbine housing etc.
My spf manifold, exhaust housing, 02 housing, and dump tube are going to them next week sometime hopefully.

yep, my exhaust manifold i just sent out to jet hot to get the black 2000 coate, my turbine housing and o2 will be sent in about a month and dump tube.

You mean SPF or SFP (as in South Florida Performance?)

Their manifolds are made from mild steel so having it ceramic coated is definately a good idea.

What's up fellas?

Has anyone sent their parts to SBR for porting?
They have a pretty killer deal, they'll do your exhaust manifold runners full length, port your turbine housing, install a 34mm flapper and port your O2 housing for like $230 bones with ups paid return shipping?

Peace

And this has to do with ceramic coating how? I smell a shameless plug....

In terms of coating the turbine housing, does the coating interefere with the turbine blade to housing clearance at all?

Dude, not sure what you mean about a shameless plug......

I was just asking if anyone sent their parts to SBR for porting?
The reason I'm asking is because I'd like to ceramic coat the parts after the port job.
Scroll up from the bottom and you can see the turbine housing coated.

Peace
