i have a question about the stock 4g63

ok i was wondering psi i can run on a stock 4g63 non-turbo.... i only wanna do it cuz i wanna have a turbo on it and cuz i want it on there till i can get my japanese engine it in with the forged internals.

no no.. i'm sorry i should have explained this alittle more... i have 2 eclipses now one that has a 1.8 and one with a 2.0 in it.......the one with the 2.0 in it is all stock and i wanna run a turbo on it for now just for fun... but i already have the new japanese engine in my garage i'm just kinda saving money to order new parts to put in it... well i am gonna get a turbo cuz i have enough money to do that and still put new parts in my japanese engine too and after i get the new parts in it i am gonna swap engines and put the faster one in the eclipse with the 2.0 originally in it and swap the 1.8 in the other and put the slower turboed 2.0 in it... so both my cars will be turboed... in the words of Goldmember if he had a GST eclipse "I LOVE TURBOOOOOOOSSSS" isn't that veird? sorry i'm tired but if 7 psi is a safe level on stock engine then thats all i needed to know thanx!!!

no, i cannot. power from psi on a 13g is much different than psi on a red. what turbo are you running, what cfm will it put out?

then i can give you a guess.

i would personally run a 13g for all its worth on a n/a motor.

oh and i have one more question....... the eclipse i am doing this too is a 94 eclipse with the 4g63 is that the same year they started putting 7 bolts in the eclipses? if so how can i find out if that is what is in it?

they started in 92. you have a 7 bolt. its a n/a 4g63, so it doesnt matter either way what it is.

7psi would be more than fine with that 13g.

ok thanx for the advice..... i was just wondering about the 7 bolt cuz i wasn't really sure when they started adding thoughs engines to the eclipses but thanx for clearing that up!
